SINUOUS ARTERIES

A cinema building located on a proto-site within New York City, it was designed through the study of minimal surfaces and their spatial effects. Done primarily as a formal study, it embraces the formal qualities of its precedent, the Taichung Metropolitan Opera House designed by Toyo Ito, while the systems diverge in function and application.

MODULE FOR AGGREGATION
Distilling the major elements of the opera house led to this module which, in the spirit of Le Corbusier's Domino House, can be used as a singular unit to be replicated and altered and forming a larger building.
